Aswell I think it will be horrible for a desk computer...

"Based on touch" ? xD Ofcourse it's on a iPad (or something else they used). On a pc it's completely DIFFERENT ! My friend has already windows 8 (a developer version) and he said: "Windows 8 takes less space then Win7 + it's completely different"

It seems that windows 8, is a basic modification of windows 7, with removal of some dialogs, warnings and stuff like that

How can you possibly hate Windows 7? Yes, Vista, sure, hate it as much as you want, it's clearly a failure, but Windows 7?....

Please elaborate. Windows 7 is one of the, if not, the best Windows OS to date. Some might say XP is the best, sure it was great for its time but you got to move on at some point.

Windows 8 on the other hand I'm not so sure about, I need to see some more things of this platform.

Meh, don't think it'll be a big win. Never really liked touch and stuff, but this is a serious fail. Touch screens are designed for restaurants and stuff to order things, not typing essays. This. Will. Fail.
