Hey, i'm reading this dook called "Monster" by Walter Dean Myers for a school project, basically it wants me to write a diary on the book from one of the characters point of view, this may seem to be simple to most users here, but I do not get it. I'm not sure how to start it, end it or even do anything. This is whats asked for
Reading Project: Diary
In addition to reading your selected book, please write a diary from the perspective of one of the book’s
major characters. The requirements for this assignment are as follows. Your assignment will be due at the
end of the second week of school.
Diary - Create a diary from the point of view of one of the major characters of your book choice. This
diary should span the length of the story and reveal the major relationships and events of his or her life.
Your diary should
include six entries that show the character’s feelings about other characters and events: hopes,
dreams, problems, concerns, frustrations, etc.
be written in first person point of view (example: Dear Diary, Today I went to see my best
friend, and we…).
include as accurate a date as possible for each entry – this should be a date in the story
have an appropriate cover and be bound in some way.
include at least three quotations in your entries
Each entry must be at least 100 words. You must provide a word count. (This means that your
entire assignment will have at least 600 words.)
