Also Avast has an free, or as they say "home edition". NOD32 does the best job, aprox. $50/per year is'nt much for your own computer security, is it ?

Avira. Probly beats every other free AV's, usually finds the FUD files aswell. Very lightweight aswell.
But to solve this, remove norton. It's the worst AV ever.
