It's possible and easy. Follow the link. It would be good for you to know how to use SSH. If you don't know, look around ******. It's not so hard after all. I recommend you don't run run sa-mp under root, make an account name "samp" or something. Upload your files to your VPS using SFTP and always with port 22(security).
