I try to join a server an nothing happens any idea?

i have it set so its running as admin an its running as windows 2000


also when i try to do the downgrade patch it gives me a error saying

This program cannot patch the installed version of SA because of the following reason: C\: programefiles(+86)\rockstar games\GTA sanandreas\gta_sa.exe: unknow version

I got the game from direct2drive

You will have to get an other version.

yep only the cd/dvd version 1.0 will work.

Edit: It says gta_sa.exe: unknow version
Have anyone tested replacing the exe with a valid dvd version exe? Maybe (but not probably) it does not check the version of other files.

You could try the thing with getting a dvd version gta_sa.exe somewhere, but it is forbidden to post game files here.
And backup your original file first.
