Also, even if this IS faster than Y_ini, does it support comments, tags, and checks that Y_ini does? With all the features Y_ini supports, it may make it slightly slower than this system.

For the average scripters, those are just unnecessary features that are not needed. A simple file system is what most people would look for IMO.

There aren't even tests compared to Y_ini to what I've read, so one of your arguments is completely invalid saying that this system IS faster. I will have to do my own tests to confirm the speed between them.

Second off, I care none about what ****** or anyone else on these forums thinks of me. You say I'm ass-kissing ******, maybe you're ass-kissing the creators of this script?

Thirdly, where the hell did I try to influence others not to use this script? I'm stating facts, if you don't like it, get the hell out.

On the other hand, ****** says himself Y_Ini is 45 times faster then Dini, and this is 72 times faster then Dini.

72-45=27, makes this 27 times faster then Y_Ini.

EDIT: And just so you know, tests vary completely on the test script to what is being tested. So, to compare Y_Ini and this would take multiple different things to be tested with a controlled script.

Maybe instead of useless arguing do some tests? I'll try check this tomorrow using my standards (backing up by dumping 40 values to 2 different files MUST be quick), if it's quicker than Y_Ini I'll definitely use this no matter if it hasn't got so many possibilities, speed is the most important factor here

Serious problems with keys check.
I tried write this in a file:

pawn Код:

Fini_SetStr("Key","key 1");
Fini_SetStr("KeY","key 2");
Fini_SetStr("KEy","key 3");
Fini_SetStr("keY","key 4");

When open the file, only this was written:

pawn Код:

keY=key 4

At most, I liked the idea, the fact does not open and close the file at all times is important.

For deleting file, use fremove(filename); but for deleting a value, there's none indeed, but will most likely get done soon when you mentioned It (hopefully?)

On the other hand, I've never had to delete a value.
