Here we go, THE GOLDEN ERA OF NGG CLONES VERSION 2
it benefits a few of the unique and original (possibly NGG Clones too ) roleplay servers out there, as many of NGG players will be pissed and looking for new servers, they could maybe find their lost stats/status quickly.

We had discussed this on and off for weeks leading up to this decision (as far as who would run the community as Executive Director), but ultimately, we were backed into a corner when the person we had in place decided to back out less than 24 hours after the interim tag was removed from his name. The community wasn't going to support a 4th Executive Director in the span of 30 days. Unfortunately, with the way our staff team is structured, while it isn't going to take one person to get the job done, there's a lot of responsibility that comes with the position that takes a lot of time out of your day. I would say the stress of the position is what led me to only last 2 and a half months in it, despite how long I've been on the team.

At the end of the day, there simply was no heir apparent to the position by the time things were said and done. The trouble with looking beyond the Admin team itself is you're really taking a leap of faith on someone, especially if you don't know them all that well. Even beyond the position, though, the decision was also based on where we were as a community and the demographics that made it up, not to mention the public image of the community has certainly been frayed over the years (hell, I've seen plenty of threads on these forums of people absolutely shitting on it).

Also, with regards to your last point, Devin did not make any money on transferring the accounts. We considered several options, including either shutting the community down all together and that's it, or doing that but at least giving everyone an out moving forward. We felt it was in the interest and, I suppose, a matter of gratitude to at least allow them to continue within another community.

Oh no, so sad, so wow, so care.

Glad that there are 3999 more servers with godfather edits to play on.

Closing a very old community is a selfish act, They could sell the community instead I can't imagine how sad their old members.

I personally don't see a very old community something to worry about? The age of a community isn't that much important, it's just getting too old, not as the current ones.

People would be sad to see the community they played for years dead, While there won't be a problem to see a community i joined a month ago dies.

That's wrong, it actually depends on the performance and dedication of the community team/developers and also the quality of what they provide, something that's unique, never been up before and is really good, I'd be sad for that even if it's been just 3 weeks since the start, always good things matter, not old. Yeah addicted members of that server might be sad because they personally liked it, but saying it on samp forums is nothing but crap, they have their own forums for such things, but what's our relation between them? The old members there would care yeah but what about us? Why we need to know? Nothing.

Why is people so mad that this topic exists? /EVERYONE/ should agree on that this was one of the more best servers even though we all didn't like it. I never played there myself, or well I tried; but the community wasn't what I was hoping. But still, it's an old community that has gone through most of the SAMP years all in together, we all saw it coming though, just like every other big server as well as people within the SAMP community. I'm not saying we saw this specific event happen, but look at the owner's story why he's shutting down NGGRP, that's the first time I see anyone shutting down a community that big over that reason, it's impressive what they were able to do under these years and it's sad to see them go.

Many people will for sure lose hope in SAMP after this, but smart people don't. I'm not even gonna go into "is samp dying" and so on, of course SAMP is gonna die though, but the question is when, and that question can never be answered untill it happens. So deal with it.

Kalcor you're still talking about the past i am talking about the present, NGG has a bad past but at least comparing to other servers it is better in everything, I Guess you haven't seen SA-MP from along time, I know about the server not much but a bit.

When NGG shuts down in 1-2 weeks, will you remember NGG?
If so, you can't, because it's the past bro.

Don't changes things please. samp isn't the forum, the forum is only a part of samp. SAMP = source code + lists + servers + forums + sites.

And yes you are Paulice No. 2

atleast paulice understand that no one want smartass's here so he did leave without any problems. why you don't follow him?

OT: NGG, very good server - you could find everything you were looking for except roleplay.

It's like nobody on this forum can have a civil discussion, or stay on topic, especially if Kalcor posts.

OT: I never really like NGG but I remember it being the core of copy cat servers after their script leaked several times. I never considered their SAMP server to be a "Role play" server. It was just an advanced Cops and Robbers. Constant deathmatchers and players who solely went on to cheat. I haven't seen it have the numbers it did back in 2013 - 2015 so them closing isn't really surprising.

Sorry, been too busy playing a toxic, immature and unprogressive mod for 9 years (which I enjoy). Surely skipped that lesson which you mentioned. I find it very comical for projects to be dashed aside for more mature, well-developed games.

Although I fancy me some Elder Scrolls, I think more attention should be converted over to sa-mp.

NGG is a disease, it spreads all around. Their leaked script gave new servers a platform to involve themselves in the mud of 'roleplay', by now I think most if not all veteran roleplay players can understand that the ngg script is not appropriate for decent or enjoyable roleplay for experienced players at least. Overcomplicated and overused methods of refunds and vip packages that make me want to puke most of the time.
