[Tool/Web/Other] [WEBSITE TEMPLATE]Simple Webpage Design

It looks good and all but here is my criticisms:
  • Disable the responsive layout if you are not using bootstrap\'s grid layout correctly
  • Centre the first bit of text
  • Remove the copyright on the image (bottom right)
  • The footer isn\'t all the way across
  • The colour in the connect section blends too much

Just my opinion, take it as you will.

Thanks for the feedback guys, I\'ve taken some feedback and improved the site a little.

You can download Version 2 on this topic, just check the first post. The demo is still up and running.

If you have any questions, or concerns you can post here, or shoot me a PM.

Thanks, and I hope you guys like it!

I don\'t understand why exactly you are bumping your release topic. If someone needs such a release they will use it, instead of being forced to see it.

Hi all,

After many requests, this project has been continued again. Because of that, Version 3 has been released.

What\'s new in Version 3:
  • + Unlike version 1 and 2, the whole site had a border so everything was in the middle. Version 3 now doesn\'t have those page borders anymore, the page goes right across with no gaps on the sides. This adds a much cleaner look.
  • + Added a donate section to the bottom of the page. You can add your own PayPal button underneath the box. (You can change the donation area to any other one you\'d like to.)
  • + Added brand new button styles. There\'s now a \'primary\' and secondary \'button\'. This can be seen in the demo in the intro area (right under the navigation bar.)

What\'s been updated:
  • + Brand new layout and design.
  • + Updated a much simpler navigation bar.
  • + Updated to a much simple looking footer.

What\'s been fixed:
  • + Fixed a bug where main texts wouldn\'t align in the center.
  • + Fixed the align bug with the footer. The footer now goes across the whole page.
  • + Fixed the navigation bug where the navbar wouldn\'t scroll while you scroll the page.
You can find the demo of Version 3 on the main post made before. Version 3 can be downloaded here.

I hope you guys like the new design. If there\'s any bugs please let me know and I\'ll fix them in Version 4\'s release.

Blue header on orange page is not a good idea. That colours are too bright and don\'t fit to each other.
Page header\'s shadow makes it looking blury on white background, so as footer\'s shadow. If you decided to create template in flat design you should make it sharp.
On my 1080px screen I see header, orange line, white line and orange line at one time with different headers. It\'s confusing a bit - maybe it\'s looking good on smaller screen, but we should not create flexible templates just for one screen resolution.
On very small screen the blue box at the bottom of the page goes over the main menu.
Fixed main menu takes too much space on small screens.
Menu items on small screens are placed into drop-down and have too big white border which looks not so good.
Logo\'s bottom border looks too thin near menu items with fat border.
I dont see any good reason to use two custom fonts from ****** Fonts CDN

That\'s all yet.
I don\'t see a big difference between default bootstrap and your templates. Anyways, keep polishing it and try to create something fresh and interesting

I was expecting some criticism about the blue header. I didn\'t know if I should go with either a black or blue. Especially with the shadows. I\'ve removed them and also have changed the headers color to black. I\'ve looked into some issues and it seems like indeed there were some bugs. I\'ve managed to fix all of them now.

@GangstaSunny I don't think so. Both layouts are using the ******* Bootstrap (and he gave credits to that in his first post btw.), but they are completely different. Nice job, although it's not really my taste.

By the way, the layout seems only to appear, if you start scrolling, is that a bug or a feature?

It\'s a feature. Reading ScrollReveal.js will tell you what it is.

@GangstaSunny No. I would\'ve given credits to StartBootstrap if I did. I do understand classes and section are similar to the one you provided, but this was made myself.
