I don't understand why everyone is looking for a way to ban people in multiple different ways. The current way works perfectly, we don't need other crap to deal with!

It's beyond redundant. I can come back to a server I was previously banned on within 30 seconds with my dial-up connection. Is it honestly worth banning someone over and over because SA:MP lacks the ability to ban someone in a more efficient manner?

If you are going to run a server, know how to code correctly, know how to be professional, know how to work with what you have and of course; hire a good administration team. Stop whining, it's getting annoying.

Coding has absolutely nothing to do with this discussion at all. Sure a majority of you ban people with weapon hacks, but it extends far past that. You have the man who is extremely persistent in whatever their task may be, ranging from: trolling, harassing someone, bug abuse, advertising, and so forth.

Some server hosts also offer the ability to completely ban certain IP's and proxy's (depending on the server host)...

That's extremely moronic to ban huge ranges to keep specific people out. Not to mention a waste of resources and time. Yeah, the half a second it takes for it to loop through the ban file and compare the players IP with the servers data-base. On top of all that, you're keeping everyone out on that range because of one bad apple?
