Override the channel yourself with pirate-pirate radio? And start transmiting the music you like 
so, even when you're not home you can listen your playlist in some radius from car or whatever.
No, but seriously. Invest in some MP3 player, and in car, get a radio with AUX input, or ipod support. Stop listening to main-stream crap, please (and 99.9% of radios only play that). All you do with that is kill the real music. I would also say "listen to pirate stations", if it wasn't acid.
