I personally would not recommend following a tutorial like that. I only read over it briefly and it all looks too much to cram into your brain at once. I would recommend looking for a tutorial on setting up the mysql server for a releaed gamemode (like citywide etc...) so you at least know how to set up the mysql. Then you can learn the mysql plugin of your choice...

however if you want a different learning route, you can:

-Get Microsoft access and look for a tutorial on ****** for it
-Then learn how to make databases in mysql with phpmyadmin
-Then look for a Mysql tutorial on ****** (maybe make a system with php if you know it)..
-Then go onto the steps i mentioned in the first paragraph..
