Well just try again and make sure you are getting the correct values. Just think of the map as a grid.
The top of the grid is the N on your mini-map. Save the coordinates accordingly and give them names. Say you go to the maximum y, then type '/save maxy' so you'll know which is which. Then just be sure to put the right coordinates in the right spots..
