That's not right, sorry. The daily player peak is between 15000-18000 and the server peak is around 3000. So that makes it 5 players for every server at the peak. That is still a lot of servers, but as far as I know that's fairly normal for any multiplayer game that has a dedicated server.
The record player peak of 19012 was recorded only a month ago, and this time last year SA-MP hadn't even broken 10000 concurrent players.

SA-MP is ranked #13 on XFire and GTA IV is ranked #34. SA-MP has helped keep San Andreas in the top 20 on XFire since it was released nearly 5 years ago.

I wasn't giving actual information hints the "LIKE", but actually expressing that there are several servers per one player.
