That is a good CPU for 50 players. But its all down to your "upstream" to the other players. You need to wipe a clean install of Windows XP or Windows Server onto it, and only dedicate it for server use, and not personal use. Also, the most inportant thing is as I said before, the upload speeds you have.
You need at least 4Mbps to run a 50 slot server. And thats "upstream" not "downstream." You also can't have any other connections connected to that line and use it, becuase it will effect the upstream alot.
So the 50 slot idea won't work, perhaps 25 will though.
