OS (Version of Windows 7): Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
CPU (32 or 64 bit important here): Intel® Core™ i7 Q720
Amount of RAM: 4096MB DDR3
GTA SA install dir: C:/Program Files(X86)/Rockstar Games/GTA San Andreas/
Clean install of GTA or not: Clean installation of a torrent which have worked for years (playing SA:MP for 2,5 years).
Does 0.2x work: Can't find the download to try on Windows 7
Does 0.3a work: Does not work. Crash load. Uninstalled both GTA SA and SA:MP. Now installing in XP2 compatibility mode as Administrator and also in a different folder.

Edit: Reinstalled GTA in a different folder and I removed the compatability mode, running as it is on Win 7 Ultimate. SA:MP keeps crashing, however I SAMP_DEBUG.exe is working. Maybe this helps a little.

I fiddled around with the compatibility settings and I managed to get it too work. I removed the compatibility settings and run it as it is, Windows 7 Ultimate. The only thing I did was running it as an administrator. So, for me, I don't need to run it as XP.
