SA-MP Team will release an update when they feel it's needed. There are many features which most of the servers do not use, if you want updates then first update your own servers with existing features. Take a look at 0.3DL server, SA-MP Team spent the time developing it and in result there are only 16 servers on 0.3DL hosted tab. Now ask yourself why there's no update as of yet? Because you, people, don't appreciate the updates.
