First off go with something small. The one you have is more than enough to run games that were released till 2017 at a decent frame rate and of with reasonable graphics. Until last week, my build was a core2quad 3.1ghz, 8gb ddr2 ram, nvidia Gtx 750ti and I shit you not, it ran games smoothly that were released until the mid of 2017 at an average fps from 40-70 with graphical settings ranging from medium to high.
What I mean to say is; go for something small, you can always upgrade the components gradually and slowly. That's what I did. Directly going for high end rigs is pointless unless you have a lot in your pocket.
