People that are spitting the dummy and acting like they actually shut their server down for the 'release', and those who are whinging about coding for the new release, and not being able to use it, are simply using this as an excuse for their failures.
If your code was working, then it wouldn't be a problem.
If the features are being brought in in future updates, then the code isn't wasted.
It's much easier to lay the blame on something else, rather than admitting that you can't understand development branches in SVN/GIT.
If you can't understand development, then maybe you should stop fear-mongering on a development forum and making out that it's terrible. They'll be added over time.
