That's true. But nowadays, every server in the internet tab with a decent chance of succeeding (due to, say, a good gamemode and hours and hours of thought put into the idea) is hidden due to the amount of servers with fake players and most recently, flooding. Therefore, if you want to be recognized, you have to invest in the hosted tab.
