I think my main issue these days wasn't anything to do with the lack of SA-MP development itself (heck, there's features I still haven't tried yet) but the community on my server in particular just became a toxic cesspit of despair. I spent more time being attacked (as did some of my admins) rather than wanting to do any developing (let alone I simply ran out of time to do any real development due to work and my course). I spent more time banning people than anything else.

I will begin to have more time as I soon head to University and will for a while not be holding down a job (at least not to begin with). I still sometimes have some ideas run through my head however, I simply am put off by the community itself.

Not a bad idea to be fair. This would allow the SA-MP team to make some servers stand out more so than when on the hosted list which would surly allow for the feedback the dev team want.
