If it really is that old version, it was released without permission, so you don't have the right to use it.
From what I know, SA-MP was rewritten from scratch after that one got leaked, and it had a lot of improvements done.
If you do decide to go with it, you're about to race with a mod that is years ahead. It's not really worth it.
