I think in your case your case you'd be better off buying a 20 slot server and expanding your capacity on demand. I mean you in bigger terms have a 0.5MB connection. I would like more than that per player personally although if you really wanted to 5 - 10 players and your always going to be pushing your ping rates on the players as this is really stretching that connection pushing it harder if it has bullet physics.

TDM means however your build would be good for quite a few players as it isn't so hardware intensive. Also if you wanted to yes you'd just have to port forward.

All in all again though I wouldn't bother I'd port forward to have a test server with your mates but for the real deal pay for it. It also means you can get a spot on the hosted list as I presume Game-mp is still closed?

Your electricity bill will be a lot more than $2 :/, find some connections maybe someone might host you for free if they have unused space on their servers. I used to do this in return for as much money as your server made.
