Advanced Display Settings
#7

No, no no....

Back to the beginning. My desktop resolution is set to 1920x1080. Yes, it is 1080p.

When starting SA-MP I select my second monitor and scroll all the way down to 1920x1080. That set's GTA's IG resolution. That is not the GUI, but the game... like the character stretching and shit.

To set the resolution of the GTA GUI you must be able to access the Advanced settings in the Display settings. However, when I'm in the display settings and I click the Advanced part it instantly closes the game process. I'm assuming this crash is because GTA:SA only supports the following 22 resolutions (which can be set on an address that apparently saves automatically to gta_sa.set):
Quote:

1 -640x480x16
2 -720x576x16
3 -800x600x16
4 -960x600x16
5 -1024x768x16
6 -1152x864x16
7 -1280x768x16
8 -1280x800x16
9 -1280x960x16
10 -1280x1024x16
11 -1600x1200x16
12 -640x480x32
13 -720x576x32
14 -800x600x32
15 -960x600x32
16 -1024x768x32
17 -1152x864x32
18 -1280x768x32
19 -1280x800x32
20 -1280x960x32
21 -1280x1024x32
22 -1600x1200x32

Notice, my resolution, 1920x1080 is NOT on there.

Also, I might try this trainer to get my resolution working: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=857
If that doesn't work I'll try 1280x800 in the SA-MP monitor selection.
