You're missing what I am saying.

The method of connection, is similar to a dialup modem, where you connect through it, and even though you have no "router", you are connected through the modem, directly to the network.

So instead of having the IP on your router, it's directly at your PC.


As I said, if you run the samp-server, and portcheck yourself, chances are it'll be open. You may want to turn off your wifi if that has any connection in use as well when you do this. Networks can use priority, and that could prioritize itself over the PPPoE (Even though it shouldn't, it still could). If that doesn't work though, ensure you have Windows Firewall setup to allow for the server.


I noticed you don't have AV on your machine, and due to this "wide open" situation where you are connected directly to the internet, you'd be wise to actually look at protecting your computer, because it is connected openly to the internet...
