What are you looking for people here when you will have so many to talk to when you join? You'd have better luck on making friends with the department itself instead of looking for some here. Trust me people are a lot friendlier there than here.

Don't depend on people to give you happiness either, today's age a lot of them act stupid to be accepted by others and drag you down.
