It is really simple, all you need to do is forward your domain's NS(nameservers) 1 and 2 to the host where your forum is hosted's name servers. To do this, contact the host's support and ask them what their NS are. Once you get to know them, in Domain you should have an option to change your DNS, there you can just add the IP.

Above scenario is in case you want your domain to redirect to your forum.
