I recently joined a cnr server which there is a job hitman but at the other hand you can deathmatch freely. What's the point on this? Basically, most CNR servers now are Deathmatch gamemodes with robbing/arresting abilities. They can't reach the top level which Are LSCNR-SFCNR-SACNR-CRAZYBOB'S. They have no new ideas they just put the same things. From the smallest to the biggest thing almost everything is same. I am currently making CNR gamemode and i personally try to add some features to attract player more, or to make it more fancy. You need new ideas to continue with scripts like CNR nowadays. Everything is same time after time.
Maybe. My server (LSCnR) was inspired by BMUK's LVCNR back in like 2007. Of course, many innovations were made since then involving core criminal and arresting systems. Many of which were first created by myself and many created by Lorenc_ of SFCnR. I really gotta hand hand it to Lorenc_, his server truly did create a surge of interest and creativity within the CnR genre. I never played on SACNR (it doesn't really seem all that interesting). And CrazyBob's has stayed the same for as long as I can remember. Although it seems mostly all CnR servers have started to use the simple arresting system of CrazyBob's now (mine included as of recent).

Personally, I don't really care for SA-MP anymore and I'm not active at all. I just released a new update for my server very recently but only after many months of nothing. I believe that many server owners are doing the same.
