What i suggest is you open your own server, for at least say a month, trial it and see how it goes if its successful you may want to keep it to yourself, however if its really good people would want to buy it, and therefore you can start selling your game mode. See how people like it first.. and then you can make that decision on if you wish to sell or keep it to yourself.
If you think your game modes a waste because you released it, you couldn't be any more wrong... The purpose of your game mode was so it can get played and enjoyed by the sa-mp community, if by some reason your not able to host it yet someone else is able to.. at least your game mode is fulfilling its purpose. Wouldnt you rather be known as "that guy that created the game mode to that server" rather than that guy who thought his game mode would be wasted if he releases it...
