You can't just add uneven numbers like that to achieve ram.
for example you can't have 3 gb ram and then add 2 gigs to get 5 it doesn't work that way. You need both ram cards to be even and equal to each other for example I have four ram I want to add some more so I add a four gig ram to my mother board and end up with 8 gigs of ram. |
Youre probably confusing this with dual-channel mode. If you got two identical ram modules, and put them in the correct slots, dual-channel mode improves their data throughput, thus making it faster.
@OP: I honestly wouldnt recommend buying such "tiny" ram modules. From that size Id guess that its ddr2 ram, and ddr2 is pretty outdated and expensive compared to ddr3 or ddr4. Rather get some new PC if you got the money, thats laonger-lasting fun than investing in stoneold hardware.
RAM also wont speed up your graphics card, unless its a integrated one with shared memory.

I have 2 slots in my motherboard and the motherboard model is : ASRock N68-S
I searched for my motherboard and i thing is this Maximum memory: 8192MB |
Dont use DDR2 and DDR3 modules at the same time, this can damage your hardware.
WRONG, this mainboard is DDR2 only, my bad
