Personally, I like the idea of "monthly mapping contests" and "Top 10 mappers", though top 10 mappers would be harder to monitor it would promote mapping which is not bad in any case!
More people would get maps that they could use in their server which is a totally good thing.
So mappers should also post the codes.
Scripters should also have scripting competitions and a ranking list, to promote scripting, the script with the most features and least bugs would win, which would also improve the SA-MP servers!
The person in the topic said that he wants this therefore he is 1, so you cant doubt this.
The competition wouldnt be pointless if it promoted mapping.
I would probably take part in at least one of these mapping competitions, so that makes 2 of us MushLand :P
