If it'd be only a support-method, then why would people create BIG-BIG threads about VIP donations? Look at the well-known servers' forums, you'll discover it yourself (This features, that feature, special tag, special shit etc..). It's a business these days. Believe or not, VIP gives a specific individual more advantages than a simple and ordinary player.
