nv4_disp.dll infinite loop error. Will a new GFX card help? [FIXED]
#1

So, I got this error with nv4_disp.dll. It says it's making an infinite loop, so the computer shuts down itself to prevent damage. I see a blue screen then, and I need to restart my computer. I only get this error while I'm playing games. When I play Fallout3, the screen freezes and the computer crashes in 5 mins. When I play SA:MP or GTA UMP, my pc crashes after ~15 minutes.
Anyways, I've seen on the internet that the problem might be an error with the drivers, or something wrong with the hardware. Now, I updated ALL my drivers, but it's still not working. This means the 'hardware' should be the problem. I just got my brand new Nvidia GeForce 9500GT, and I'm waiting for my mom to install it(yeah, I know, I can't do it myself ) but she will be at home in a couple of hours. What I want to know it: Did anyone ever experience this problem? If yes, will a new GFX card fix it?

I currently got a Nvidia GeForce 8300GS, with all drivers up-to-date.

FIXED.
