If anythings flawed it's the host. The server is not what lets in vulnerabilities. The server can fend for itself using plugins and such, but if the host didn't have security flaws the server wouldn't have those problems. That has nothing to do with this guys problem though.
1. You should not let a host mess with YOUR files at all, they should not be allowed to edit ANYTHING. They should not be able to FORCE any kind of updates without your will. Hell, they could've fucked up your maps somehow.
2. DETAILS! What streamer version? What OS (Windows Server XX.XX XXXX, Linux Debian, Linux CentOS, Linux Ubuntu, etc)? Details you're willing to share about your server specifically such as what plugins you are using (I believe the original YSF caused major problems with streamer in the past), anything.
