Right now I am typing on my hybrid laptop. It is a very basic machine that is light and easy to transport - totally solid-state with only two cores. As such, it has, by modern standards, a tiny internal hard disk - just 64Gb total. That's compared to my main PC, with over 5Tb. In fact, that's only just twice what my watch has, with 32Gb.
Why am I telling you all this? My laptop is, by any modern standard, small in terms of storage, yet could store your script 8192 times over. I have some music on this device, one of those tracks is 24 minutes long and 54Mb big - nearly 7 times larger than your script. My point is, we are in 2015, not 1915 - why are you so concerned about 8Mb? That's barely more memory than this page takes to be displayed, are you bothered by that (or do you use the Lynx browser)? |
