I will ask you 3 simple questions:
1. Have you tried re-installing GTA:SA + SA:MP? 2. Are you using patch (US 1.0)? 3. Do you got mods installed in your game? (If yes, that cause SA:MP crashes on startup. Some old mods caching on the gta sa directory and sometimes cause SA:MP crashes.) |
2-Yes,it appears(correct me if wrong) that there are various ways of doing it. The one provided here at the front page of samp(the one Ive used in the past) and this other one which I'm using at the moment. "First, you must downgrade your game to V1.0. You must do it with this tool specifically, otherwise the game with GInput may and WILL crash at startup.

Put the files in your GTA:SA folder and then follow the instructions to downgrade the game. RUN THE DOWNGRADER AS AN ADMINISTRATOR."
3-Yes,this one: https://steamcommunity.com/app/12120...6318964479523/
Im using this one because I never finished single player(lost saves) and not having proper wide screen 16:9 made me lose interest in restarting the game on top of losing my saves in first place.
3A-Now,if you read about the link for the mod I'm using^ you can see many "fixes" that it the mods implements or try to solve. Of all those I'm mostly just interests on this: * 16:9 resolutions are now selectable (like in 1.01).
So I'm more than willing to start all from scratch and not use this mod if I knew I could have proper 1080 16:9 res&aspect ratio for gta sa single player. And as an added plus would be able to play samp w/no problems cause I wouldn't be using this mod just to be able to play good old 16:9 wide screen.
