I've used Intel and AMD, built machines with both, I can honestly say that the difference between AMD and Intel isn't far off for the average user. I'm not saying any of us here are the average user, but it's not a massive difference and honestly, who really cares? If it works, it works. It would be at most be 30 seconds or a minute different rendering times with video and for what, around $100 difference? Who cares.
