That only changes the amount of bandwidth used by the server, doesn't actually make it a LAN game.

For starters you are going to need to run a SA-MP server on one of your computers. That can be found on this page. After that you are going to need to connect to that computers server by using its LAN IP. From there you can load on other gamemodes and such.
