It doesn't have the same parameters. Check the original thread of the mysql plugin (by BlueG) and see the parameters. The first parameter is the connection handle (the one mysql_connect returns), the query and the rest are cache (true in SELECT queries and false in INSERT/UPDATE) and a callback is needed if the cache is true (you select data).
