Hey sixtynine, I have just started driving at a driving school. I think that there is really not so much to prepare for your practical. I have had 3 lessons so far and I think the only thing that really helped me was a racing game that helped me steering into corners. I also have a truck simulator which I think was helpful for different situations on the road. Only those things have helped me. Shifting gears wasn't really hard but I wouldn't recommend relying on it if you have done a racing game ( I am shifting too fast :> ) The driving instructor will help you through everything. That was for the practical. Theory is just learning from a book (or website if you can find one) and doing some online tests or so. That's all there really is to it. Theory is just like school.. learning, learning, learning. |
