i had this problem too i had avg and my prots were open but didnt work i fixed it by installing a new windows and didnt install avg so worked great and the reason is that avg disables ur firewall and enables his firewall by time avg deletes your firewall so that ur windows gets cerrupted and ur ports dont get online you gotta install a new windows sorry for long discription but i thought u wanted to know the full story
