It's possible that your firewall is blocking you from seeing any servers. Make sure sa-mp.exe and gta_sa.exe have full inbound and outbound acesss.

The only reason I can see why San Andreas Roleplay was removed from official because it really does not showcase a decent roleplay server. It uses a near un-modified godfather script and the roleplay is very poor on it.
