Wrong. There's a lot of people who wants to RP out there. As long as you have created the script from scratch and have a good team setup then I am sure that you will succeed. RP has always been and will always be a part of SA-MP and its community. And even if he does "fail" he still learns a lot of scripting from this project and so he can easily create another server much quicker than before his newly earned skills. It is also not that expensive to run a server, you can find really good Linux VPSs for like $20. So as long as you stay dedicated and create something of your own and setup a good team it's all cool!

I prefer commands because setting up keybinds is not the funniest thing to do. However, somtimes it's essential to have keybinds when you're for instance on a pursuit as a police officer.

It can be the way you described although it's important that they cannot choose a skin form a different gender or any skin that does not match up with the person in question's story.

You should be able to set all this on your own. If the user set an unrealistic skin based on the age then he should be kicked or dealt with in other ways, just as if he did not have a RP name.
