I can agree, but still, the scripting knowledge of the programmers in general has improved a lot since 2007, as you see the SAMP developers who brought SAMP where is now.

GTA IV's problems was the difficult coding, and it was hard to script, as far as I know.
You know.. the bad porting thing also. You could have a high-end PC, but still, you'd get a bad performance.
