Sir, everyone has their point of view on things, I completely understand yours. Most RP servers are taken over my russians (No racism meant there) and that's where most of the players are at.
For most people, RP is interesting because you simulate real life, so some people like this. Actually there isn't a real answer for this question. It''s like asking a bear why he shits in the woods to be honest.
Reason for most people hating roleplay is because 12 and 13 year olds create servers just so they can have power within in their server, there is only a few select servers that are good and that's because the server/community is managed properly and the staff team knows what they are doing. Just because someone says "Oh wow.. another RP server" doesn't mean they are hating on it, they just look out for what to expect, this is something that the server staff has to prove wrong, and no.. all these young childern aren't going to stop creating RP servers.
