There is no real performance improvements(though it starts up faster due to that freakin lazy bootup) and the UI is a pain in the ass if you are using mouse/keyboard and not freaking touch. But even if you use touch the UI is mislead at some points where they've hidden simple functions at the most ridiculous places. The design is neat but not a reason for me to buy a pile of shit.... If you have a touchscreen it might be some sort of fun. But more of a gadget than an enhancement over Windows 7. But that's just my honest opinion. |
It has more better features on the startup you get live newsfeed and stuff which is cool.
Windows 7 is simple and windows 8 is customized i would say.
