Hmm, to be honest, making races with Med would be very backward. Not only is it only objects, but it has nothing to do with races.
I suggest MTA, use the map editor. It's simple to use and creates a .map file. Y-Less and Seif have made two seperate MTA loaders, use this to load the map.
