cms_users
- user_id
- user_name
- etc..

cms_articles
- article_id
- article_name

and so forth. Don't know what else to say really
Thank you, I've started studying some open-source forum machine as well as some other CMS. And I started with the PM system which would include the normal inbox features and notifications.

A very crucial point I didn't even thought of. Thank you.

Exactly, and also CMS like Wordpress pushed their security farther than you could by the time you finish your first version.
It's not a competition or something, I am making a custom blog for myself. Not really thinking to sell or have a commercial use of it and maybe I may release the source code here if I think I came up very well with this thing.

If you don't even know where to start, you shouldn't be making it at all.

If I was you, I would go with wordpress.. IF you HAVE TO make your own cms.. start with the database structure then read up on security.
Thank you too.

So, something which are essential or say very necessary for a CMS is SECURITY. I've nearly figured out how will be the database and soon I'll head towards, optimized, precise and secure coding. Am I going right ?
