What you think about homeless people in USA?
What is your feeling towards them?
- I think they are looked down on by most people as being lazy and selfish. Some of them are, but some of them have been through worse things than you can imagine, and they've just lost all hope. They don't care about themselves anymore so they don't see the point in trying.
Why don't homeless people just go stay in a shelter?
- I knew a homeless boy that he decide he'd rather sleep in a park than the shelters because he didn't want to get mix up with all the addict there. So. maybe keep a drugless zone or underage zone apart from the regular shelter
Why don't homeless people just get jobs?
- I don't know, why don't you loose everything gambling and drinking, and you start over.
How can one person or one family help homeless people?
- Helping the homeless should be something undertaken by all Americans. Yet the help should be returned. Once the homeless have houses and food, they should become viable citizens of whatever society helped them. Homeless people, if they are young enough and able, should get jobs or have family take care of them eventually. Only our most helpless citizens should be taken care of by the government
