I like Flume and Macklemore. I mean, i doubt they are independent anymore, but it's incredible what they did without a label.

I'm not sure if you heard of Flume's story, finding a music program in the bottom of a cereal box, and his passion grew from there.

Now I listen to these Aussie guys, Fozzey & VanC. They're doing pretty well and they have a good attitude, releasing music for free and not getting caught up in labels and confusion, but doing exactly what they want to do, rather than stuff that suits the trend.
