Well, C still is C on that machine. An ARM still is a turing-cpu that, in theory, can do the same stuff your desktop pc cpu can do. Basically all you need to do is to recompile stuff for its architecture. A compatible compilerset for it is already available longer than the raspberry itself. As an example, I once ran quake 3 on mine (a quite famous game for testing). Its source code is open, and i just recompiled it on the raspi. Took a while, but it actually works and runs at 40fps
Some people even run windows 95 on it in an emulator (just takes some hours to boot), check youtube for examples. There are various open source emulators that already were compiled for the raspi, however i didnt try running a samp server with it, as i never really worked with emulators yet. Could try compiling mta with it for testing, but i dont really like mta and working into it.
